Norwegian designers dress Disney princesses for the holidays

Steen & Strøm Department Store is partnering with Disney and top Norwegian designers for a magical window display.

Steen & Strøm, one of Oslo’s largest and oldest departments stores, was once known for it’s elaborate window displays during the holiday season. This year, as part of the Promenaden fashion district, which also includes department store Eger and connecting streets Øvre Slottsgate and Nedre Slottsgate, Steen & Strøm is bringing Christmas back in a big way!

Steen & Strøm is partnering with Disney for a princess-themed window display. To highlight Steen & Strøm’s fashion profile, they have asked Oslo Runway and nine, top Norwegian fashion brands to create modern looks for the princesses. Each designer have designed a dress for one princess:

ByTiMo for Sleeping Beauty

Cathrine Hammel for Cinderella

Haik W/ for Tiana from The Princess and the Frog

Veronica B. Vallenes for Snow White

FWSS for Mulan

Elisabeth Stray Pedersen for Pocahontas

Fam Irvoll for Ariel from The Little Mermaid

Edda Gimnes for Rapunzel

Epilouge By Eva Emanuelsen for Elsa from Frost

We are so excited to see the Christmas magic created by some of Norway’s best  designers when the Steen & Strøm window display is unveiled on November 18 at 5pm!
