Admir Batlak is a fashion designer whose work puts special emphasis on textile development and innovative construction. With clear references to fashion history, social movements and youth culture, his collections demonstrate a constant exploration of classic feminine codes and comment their relevance in a contemporary fashion context. Through collaborations with other art fields, he continually seeks to challenge the show format and elevate the perception of fashion design. He has shown his works at Gallery Riis, The Munch Museum, Kunstnernes Hus, Kunstnerforbundet and 1857 Oslo, among other places. In 2017 he received the Costume Award for best Norwegian designer.
