Around 30 Norwegian designers and fashion brands will take part in the event’s hybrid format, showcasing some of Norway’s most exciting design talents. This will be carried out through unique video presentations, physical shows, press events, exhibitions, shopping events and interviews with the designers.
All the videos will be launched at different times on www.oslorunway.no (see program under), and will also be available on this website afterwards.
Oslo Runway launches on Wednesday 25. August, where Envelope1976 will open with a press event and a digital presentation of their AW21 collection. Following this will be digital presentations of Bergen-based Oleana, Elisabeth Stray Pedersen with her brand ESP and the shoe brand New Movements. AWAN will thereby host the panel “How to build a fashion brand as a tech startup”. Physical shows will also take place this season, with amongst others, the progressive brand Livid showing their collection for the first time during Oslo Runway, which will take place at Tårnet Kulturarena in Oslo. In addition, Fam Irvoll is back at Oslo Runway and closes the day with a show of her latest collection at the old main library in Oslo.
On Thursday the 26. August FWSS will start the day with a press event. Further, digital presentations will be held, where Avenue will present their SS22 collection, the fashion and lifestyle brand Iben will return to Oslo Runway, and the timeless utility brand Swims will be showing for the first time during Oslo Runway. Closing the program is a digital presentation of Livid’s show from the previous day.
