Steen & Strøm partners up with Oslo Runway for the upcoming season

Once again, Oslo Runway events will take place in Oslo’s leading department store, adding to the eventful schedule in August.

Since 1797, Steen & Strøm has been offering the latest within fashion and design, always with a forward-looking approach. Attracting more than 2 million visitors every year, the six floors department store is the go-to destination for discovering the latest within Norwegian fashion, making it the perfectly aligned scene to promote the Norwegian fashion designers that will be showcasing during Oslo Runway.

– We are honored to dedicate a part of Steen & Strøm once again to Norwegian design. We hope everyone visiting Steen & Strøm during Oslo Runway will take a moment to engage with and discover up-and-coming Norwegian talent. Steen & Strøm offers an immersive shopping experience, where in addition to local designers, you can also find the most attractive Scandinavian and international brands, as well as Scandinavia’s largest Beauty Hall and a culinary Food Hall. The department store serves as a natural extension to Oslo Runway, and will for a limited time host a pop-up store, exclusively featuring Norwegian design. Also, as a part of the official schedule in August, a shopping event managed by influential people from the Norwegian fashion industry will take place here.

– Oslo Runway has established itself as the most important showcasing arena for fashion in Norway. An arena we need if we want the industry to grow, something we at Steen & Strøm care deeply about. Steen & Strøm wants to support Norwegian fashion design and talent, a partnership with Oslo Runway is therefore a natural way to do so, says Kaia Kongsli, Head of Marketing at Steen & Strøm and Promenaden Management.
