What is my personal information used for?
The purpose of our processing is to optimise the user experience and the website’s functionality including creating statistics. This processing of personal data is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and improving our website.

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect personal data about you, including your name and your email address. Besides sending you newsletters on your request, the purpose for us is to pursue our legitimate interest in marketing our services.

When you submit an application to be on considered for the Oslo Runway Official Schedule using our online application form, we collect personal data about you and the company that you represent. This collection of personal data is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest in operating as Oslo Runway. The application form data will be collected by Oslo Runway and shared with necessary third parties, counting the Oslo Runway program committee.

Where is my personal information stored?
All your personal information is stored within the EU/EEA, but some of our suppliers have technical support services located outside the EU/EEA. By using these support services, any processing of your personal data will be governed according to the EU/EEA standard contract for transmission to a third country or other approved transmission mechanism.

How can I manage my personal information?
You may choose to change your personal information at any time by contacting us.

Who has access to my personal information?
Your personal information is processed by authorised personnel who have access to the information by virtue of their professional position and are bound by an obligation to retrieve/use only data for the specified and legitimate purposes for which the data was collected. Your personal data is also disclosed to third parties who process personal data on behalf of Oslo Runway and therefore acts as our data processors. We use third parties to send out our newsletters and as hosting provider.

How long do you store the data?
Your personal information is stored for as long as it is necessary to perform the services described in this statement. Personal data about you and the company that you represent collected when you applied to be considered for the Oslo Runway Official Schedule will be deleted no later than 12 months after submission.

How do the regulations concerning personal information function?
All processing of personal data, such as its collection, registration, storage and release is subject to separate regulations, including the Personal Data Act. Oslo Runway is responsible for processing your personal information in accordance with the act's provisions, i.e. "controller".

Force Majeure
If Oslo Runway is subject to force majeure, i.e. if we or our associates are victims of war, warlike events, revolution, rebellion, action taken by the authorities, strikes, lockouts, blockade, natural disasters, fire, or similar events, Oslo Runway is entitled to suspend its obligations to its customers for up to two months. After this period, both Parties can cancel the agreement without becoming liable for compensation.

Disputes
The Parties shall seek to resolve any disputes between them. If this is not possible, the matter can be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Council in the area in which you live. All disputes shall be resolved according to Norwegian law.
